The aquamedic filter system Reef 500 is a compact 3-stage unit for use in the cabinet under the aquarium. The system filter is a modular construction and can be enlarged or completed on demand. The system consists of a pre filtration module for mechanical filtration, filled with sponge, a Turboflotor 1.000 protein skimmer with venturi pump and needle wheel, and a post switched trickle filter filled with Bactoballs for biological filtration. Optional is a glass filter sump. This sump is designed to take in addition a Calcium Reactor and a Nitratereductor.
The filter system reef 1000 is designed for the use in a cabinet. It contains in a compact space all elements, that are necessary for the successful maintenance of a modern reef aquarium - without any compromises. The focal point of the water treatment is protein skimming. The reef 1.000 consists of a filter sump, 90 x 36 x 35 cm (36 x 14,5 x 14 inches), with mechanical filter chamber with sponge. From here, the water flows via two venturi pumps into both Turboflotor 1.000, with their connected trickle filters. The filtration system Marin 1.000 is designed for use in the cabinet under the aquarium. It consists of a closed filter sump (54 x 36 cm / 22 x 14 inch) to take up the filter modules. The modules can easily be reached through 2 sliding doors for maintenance. For installation, the top lid of the filter can also be removed. The water that comes from the aquarium first is treated with 3 trickle filter modules filled by Bactoballs for biological filtration. The other components are a Turboflotor 1.000 protein skimmer and a Nitratereductor.
