FISHMATE

POND VOLUME
Click the link below to work out the volume of water in the pond. This is needed to be able to pick the right size filter and pump. After calculating the size of the pond, there are two more considerations. The stocking level and the amount of sunlight the pond will be in during the day. The recommendations below are for ponds with an average amount of sunlight throughout the day and an average stocking level of fish. For ponds in full sunlight and with large stocking levels including Koi a larger filter and pump combination should be used.

Fishmate Compact Fishmate Compact
The Compact 8 watt is for ponds up to 2500 litres - recommended pump Fishmate 1500.

The Compact 16 watt is for ponds up to 5000 litres - recommended pump Maximus 1500 / 2000.
