Filtoclear is multi-functional in terms of where it can be used, either above or below the surface of the water,at the edge of the pond.

The clever thing is that the pressure of the pump enables the filtered water to be pumped to a higher level and fed back into the pond via a watercourse or a water feature, even if the source is located on a raised bed or mound.

This not only makes your garden more attractive – it enriches the water with oxygen which the plants and fish need to survive.

Filtoclear is very easy to install – all you need is a suitable OASE pump and a socket in order to power the integrated UVC clarifier.

What makes Filtoclear so effective is the combination mechanical/biological filter and a powerful UVC clarifier. The UVC rays from the clarifier help to flocculate the algae drifting in the water and kill off disease-causing agents as the water flows through the clarifier.

The water is subsequently pumped to the filter unit where the ”pre-treated” pollutants are filtered out more easily. Your pond therefore virtually cleans itself.

Thanks to its unique ”Easyclean Technology”, cleaning Filtoclear is really easy and practical with just a few simple steps:

	Filtration Algae and dirt are flocculated by the UVC clarifier. Then the ”treated” water flows through the filter unit’s fine mechanical and large-pore biological filter elements, which support the filtration process and clarify the water. The pressure produced by the pump allows the water to flow back into the pond via a watercourse or a water feature.
	Cleaning Activate the cleaning function by turning the rotary switch. Next, move the cleaning lever up and down, thus ”wringing out” the filter elements. At the same time, the pond water flows into the filter and forces the dirty water out. Then simply turn the switch back into the filter position.
